Now, if any one has ever had to work on a cars alternator then they know that these spin fairly easely. So why not run an alternator on the tires of an electric car and try and claim some of that spent energy back. You know. Like the little generators that you put on a bike tire to charge the lights for night driving.

Just a thought.
